I love Christmas! The decorations, food, crafts and watching my kids open their presents. This year I needed a new Christmas wreath. This Christmas wreath is super easy to make.

Supplies Needed:

  • Foam wreath form

  • Yarn (color of your choice)

  • Twine

  • Hot glue gun and glue

  • Decoration for the center.

Attach the yarn with hot glue and start wrapping. It’s a little tricky to wind the whole skein of yarn around the wreath so I cut big sections of yarn. When the yarn runs out secure the end to the back of the wreath with hot glue. As you wind the yarn you’ll want to push it together so that it completely covers the wreath form. Keep going until you have covered the entire wreath. To hang the wreath I made a loop with twine and hot glued it to the back of the wreath. Adding the decoration will depend on what you chose. For my metal cut out reindeer ( Michael’s Crafts for $1.50) I repeated the process of creating the loop for hanging the wreath and attached the reindeer.

Here is a photo of the back of the wreath so you can see how I attached the yarn. It really doesn’t matter how neat the back is because no one will see it.

There are so many options with this type of wreath. You could glue greenery, berries or anything you like on the wreath for decoration.

Happy crafting!!!
