Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year! With all the travel and shopping it’s easy to forget to stop and enjoy the all the season has to offer.


Make this Christmas Magical for your kids with these great ideas.

-Have a Polar Express night with popcorn and hot cocoa.

-Bake special cookies just for Santa.

-Go ice skating.

-New pajamas for Christmas Eve.



-Make salt dough ornaments.

-Take a drive around your neighborhood to look at Christmas lights.

-Collect a new Christmas book every year.

-Hot cocoa bar with all the fixings. This blog has some super cute ideas.

-String popcorn to hang outside for the birds



Stranger Things Christmas



-Do some Christmas crafts. (check out this link for some awesome kids Christmas crafts.)

-Have an indoor snowball fight. I personally have this set of plush snowballs. Indoor Snowballs

-Build a gingerbread house or even have a friendly contest to see who can create the coolest gingerbread sculpture. Who says it has to be a house???

-Do a Christmas scavenger hunt.

-Wrap 24 books, they don’t have to be new. Each night unwrap a book and cuddle up to read.

-Go on a candy cane hunt. Hide candy cane’s around the house and let the hunting begin. Just make sure you know how many you hid so you don’t end up finding candy canes in July.

-Have a family game night.


-Cut paper snowflakes to decorate your kids bedroom window.



Make a playlist of your favorite Holiday music and have a dance party.

Have a “make your own pizza night.”

Make Christmas eve pillow cases using plain white pillowcases and fabric markers or paint.
