Easy DIY Baby Wipes

DIY Baby Wipes:
There are so many  posts out there about DIY Baby wipes, how do you decide which one to use?

When I began my journey into cloth diapering I decided to give cloth wipes a try too. I figured since I was going to be washing diapers anyway, why not throw some wipes in too. After searching Pinterest for DIY Baby wipes I decided to create my own recipe using bits and pieces of the posts I found. This post will be super short mainly because these wipes are so easy to make.

A lot of the posts I found showed how to sew your own wipes. I decided to make it simpler by using all the old baby washcloths I had laying around.

Supplies Needed:

  • Old baby washcloths

  • 1 tbsp. of whatever baby wash you use

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 drop of tea tree oil

  • Coconut oil

  • A container to store them in

Steps To Make Them:

  • Pour 1 cup warm water into your container

  • Add 1 tbsp. baby wash

  • Add 1 drop tea tree oil (make sure it’s only one drop so that it doesn’t irritate baby’s bottom)

  • Add 1/2 tsp coconut oil

  • Close the lid and give it a swirl

  • The last thing you do is roll up your baby washcloths and put them into the container full of liquid.

It’s so easy and they work great. The tea tree oil helps with the smell from poopy cloth diapers, while the coconut oil adds a little moisture and helps with diaper rash.
