The air we breath in our homes isn’t as clean as it should be. Dust particles, synthetic fabrics on furniture and paint all add pollutants to the air in our homes. Here are just a two of the pollutants that can be found in your home.
Benzene is found in paint, glues, furniture polish and detergents.
Ammonia is found in our household sprays and aerosols.
Doesn’t sound good does it. In the winter with the windows closed up those pollutants become even more potent. House plants work hard to clean the air and rid our homes of toxins, plus they are nice to look at.
Here are some houseplants that will help clean the air in your home.
I am going to have to try some of these. I love fresh plants although I cant seem to always keep them alive so well. Bonsai tree is probably what I will try first
Great post! I don’t know much about plants but I love having them in my house! I’ll have to re-visit this next time I go to the greenhouse! Thanks for sharing!

How easy are they to care for? I don’t have a green thumb at all lol. In fact, I’m struggling to keep my Ivy alive ?

Very interesting. The only house plant we have is aloe plants. Useful for cuts and scrapes which is pretty common in a house with 4 kids!
