Back in 2004, I married my high school sweetheart. We had dated for four years prior to getting married and thought we had things figured out. Well my husband is in the Army. Yup, that changes everything. Going from being a civilian twenty-one year old to being an Army wife was quite a change. I was plucked from my parents house in Michigan and transplanted to Fort Polk, LA. That was almost fourteen years ago.
At this point I’ve pretty much got the military wife thing figured out, but there are still times I need encouragement or advice.
