If you’re looking for a way to make money from home, I’ve got the answer.
I love being a stay at home mom and have no desire to join the workforce. Maybe that sounds lazy, but I’m a homebody and want to be there for all my kids sick days and school functions. In order to stay at home, I’ve started to find ways to create an income from home. Besides blogging I make money on Instagram. I don’t get paid for all my Instagram photos. If I did my Instagram feed would look outrageous and impersonal. I’ve been approached to post for brands that I personally don’t like or know much about. In those cases I decline to post and wait for something I use and love to come up. If you like to take pictures and are looking for some extra income keep reading to find out more. I should mention that I’m not a professional photographer, in fact I’m not very good at taking pictures at all. Photography is something I’d love to learn more about but don’t have time right now.

There are three things you’ll need to make money on Instagram.
If you’re new to Instagram then you’ll need followers. The more followers you have the more likely you are to get paid posting opportunities. While you want followers, you don’t want just any followers. You’re looking for genuine and loyal followers that are active. You also don’t want followers that have nothing to do with your niche or lifestyle, for instance my profile is pictures of my kids, products I use and my daily life so I wouldn’t necessarily want people who are only into cars to follow me.
How to find and get hired to post photos to Instagram for money.
Social Media Influencer Programs
Simply put, these are agencies that brands and companies go to when they need their product advertised. The social media influencer programs match brands with Instagramers based on your profile, picture quality, followers and engagement. Sometimes the photos are pre produced and sometimes you’ll take the picture yourself.
The programs listed below are ones that I personally use and have had a good experience with.
Another way to find paid posting opportunities is to sign up as an affiliate marketer and promote your favorite products on Instagram. With affiliate marketingyou make a small commission for every sale or in some cases you get paid per click. To do this you would place your affiliate link in the bio of your Instagram profile.
