Making memories with friends and family is one of my priorities in the fall. Picking out Halloween costumes and pumpkins to jumping in leaf piles are a few of my families favorites. When we come back inside to warm up, it’s amazing to be greeted by the scents and smells of fall.

Candles are, by far my favorite way to make my house smell good. I usually keep an eye on Target and Yankee Candle Company to buy when they are having a sale. Farmstand Festival and Sweet Maple Chaiare my favorite scents from Yankee Candle Company. When it comes to Target, I’m in love with Bourbon Pumpkin and Autumn Leaves. Target’s candles are considerably less expensive, but the selection isn’t as big as Yankee Candle Company.
I don’t use a simmer pot very often in my home; I find it easier to light a candle or spray a room freshener. Because I don’t use them often I don’t have many simmer pot recipes for you. Check out these great fall simmer pot ideas from other bloggers.
One Good Thing has an amazing post with two great simmer pot recipes. You can see the post here.
One Crazy House shares even more great fall simmer pot recipes. I personally can’t wait to try their orange spice potpourri recipe.
Diffusing essential oils is another great way to make your home smell good. The only blend I’ve used so far is purify. I mainly use it to help keep my home free of germs. This fall I’m branching out and trying some new essential oil blends.
Angie Cruise from angiecruise.com has so many amazing essential oil diffuser recipes for fall. Snickerdoodle sound amazing! To see all of her blends, click here.
Life As Mamahas an essential oil blend that smells like cinnamon roll! This is one that I’m definitely going to try. She has so many great diffuser recipes. You can see more here.
I’ve tried my fair share of room freshening sprays. I recently bought one from Grove Collaborative that is lavender and bergamot scent. What I love about this room spray is that it comes with a reusable glass spray bottle that can be refilled with any essential oil blend or Grove Collaborative blend.
