This DIY marbled coffee mug will brighten your mornings. Adding a splash of color to my coffee habit makes my early mornings a little brighter.

One of the first things I do every morning is head to the coffee maker. Monday through Friday, I get up with my kids at 5:40 am to get them ready and off to school. I didn’t use to be a morning person, but over the years, I’ve adapted and find mornings to be my most productive time of day.

I’ve had this plain white coffee mug in my cupboard for almost a year. While I did use it at least a few times a week, I felt that it needed a little color. If you’ve followed me for long, you know that I love DIY and craft projects. Knitting is my favorite craft but I also enjoy branching out and creating things to make for my house.

What a beautiful gift idea! I love how vibrant the colors turned out and I never would have guessed you used nail polish. I think we might have to try making these for end of the year teacher gifts and fill with their favorite coffee. Thanks for sharing!
